Avalon Fleet
Avalon fleet is the longest existing operation in Cuba’s famous Jardines de la Reina offering five liveaboards.
The liveaboards come under the Cuban dive enters umbrella which is a group of ecotourism professionals that have united together with the focus on long terms conservation with local support to preserve the marine sanctuary.
There are only 3,000 divers per year that can visit the marine reserve and joining a liveaboard cruise is the best way to enjoy the diversity of the archipelago.
Weekly cruises are available year-round, and they have both budget and luxury vessels to choose from.

Avalon I
Avalon I has excellent cabins for up to 18 guests in a mix of eight Staterooms. Most cabins have ensuite facilities and all are climate controlled with a TV. There is comfortable seating on sofas in the lounge area and a PC station for photo editing. The upper deck has a bar and the main open-air dining area where delicious meals are served. The top deck is the sun area with jacuzzi, BBQ and seating. Diving is mainly from the fast zodiacs.

Avalon II
Avalon II is a 40 metre luxury vessel that can accommodate 20 guests onboard. There are ten deluxe staterooms with both queen and single beds. All staterooms have ensuite bathrooms, climate control and natural light. The lounge area and dining room are combined with a bar. The sundeck has comfortable seating with a shaded area and a jacuzzi. The dive deck is spacious with storage for equipment and cameras. Nitrox is available and extra dives can be purchased onboard.

Avalon III
Avalon III is a brand-new luxury vessel coming to Cuba in January 2019. At 49 metres in length she accommodates 30 guests. There are 15 staterooms available over three decks including four suites with private balconies on the upper and main decks. All have ensuite bathrooms and climate control. The lounge area and dining room are combined with a bar, and the sundeck has comfortable seating with a shaded area and a jacuzzi.

Tortuga
Tortuga is a 34 metre floating hotel. She is double-deck steel houseboat anchored a protected channel at Jardines de la Reina. She does not move so is very stable. Guests arrive by a boat transfer to join the liveaboard. Eight cabins accommodate 2 guests in each cabin all with ensuite bathrooms and climate control. Dives are varied and completed from the fast boats as the Tortuga will remain moored for the duration of the trip.

Avalon IV
Avalon IV is the newest addition to the Avalon fleet with this luxury vessel coming to Cuba in August 2020. She is 54m in length and can accommodate 30 guests on board in comfort and luxury. Explicitly built to replace the well-known and popular Tortuga she is also known as the new Tortuga. She will be permanently moored in the Jardines de la Reina as a floating hotel with guests transferred each Saturday on and off-board.
